The Scooches will play for the opening ceremony for the Forest Hills American Legion Memorial Day parade on May 28th, 2023, at 11am. Starting with a couple of originals prior to the ceremony, The Scooches will be playing the National Anthem, America the Beautiful, God Bless America, and the Military Hymns of the 5 branches with Trumpeter Jordan Sandke. Following the ceremony, The Scooches’ singer/guitarist Betina Hershey will join The Garden Players Musical Theater kids and march in the parade.
